BADAS has creating fresh opportunities for local people in Barnsley who are in recovery from drug and alcohol problems by offering a variety of woodwork, craft and creative sessions each week at their Recovery Enterprises workshop Participants do not require a certain skill level as we welcome anyone regardless of their abilities however the participant are required to be in recovery from substance misuse and or mental health. Partispants joining the project will have the opportunity to:-

• Building confidence and self esteem, improving motivations aspiration while sustaining their recovery
• Access ongoing support with on site experienced support workers
• Gain an accredited qualification in City & Guilds Level 1 carpentry (optional) Learn business skill
• Be taught by our qualifed Joiner
• Customer services, face to face and telephone contact
• Help maintain the website and social media pages Community projects i.e. site work
• Producing wooden item for sale
• Working as part of a team or independently
• Volunteer opportunities with identified roles
• Peer mentoring
• CV building and Job search
• Addition training session to meet participants needs
• Sessional skills training with external skill trainers
