Milton Keynes Centre for Integrated Living

MK CIL is an information centre which provides a very wide range of free and confidential information on any disability related issue for disabled people, their families, carers and anyone else with an interest in the field of disability.

The Centre has a core team of hard working volunteers, most of whom have a disability themselves. The volunteers are supported by the Information and Support Planning Manager. The overall management of the service is the responsibility of the Chief Executive Officer. The organisation is governed by a Board of Trustees made up of at least 50% of local disabled people and other memebers of the local community who have relevant expertise. The current chair of MK CIL is Geoff Suanders.

The aim of MK CIL is to inform and empower by giving information and support to significantly contribute to the lifestyle and independacne of disabled people. The service is friendly and is responsive to individual needs.
