Mosaic Clubhouse

Mosaic Clubhouse is a community centre that provides opportunities to people with mental illness. Members of Mosaic are able to fulfil their potential and achieve a sense of belonging, dignity and self-worth through employment, housing, social and educational choices available through the clubhouse. Much more than simply a programme or a social service, a Clubhouse International clubhouse is a community of people who are working together to achieve a common goal.

Mosaic Clubhouse is organised to support people living with mental illness to re-join the worlds of friendship, family, employment and education. Clubhouse International clubhouses powerfully demonstrate that people with mental illness can lead productive and satisfying lives.

Mosaic Clubhouse represents a non-clinical support project for those with long-term mental ill health. Here at Mosaic, both members and staff work alongside each other in all aspects of operating and maintaining the clubhouse, from administration duties to cooking daily meals. No doctors or psychiatrists visit the premises except to tour, and there is no group therapy at the clubhouse. You can access any psychiatric services that you may require through your local mental health team.
