Mountains of Mourne Country Cottages

Mountains of Mourne Country Cottages at Hanna's Close are a restored "Clachan" dating back to the 1640's.

They are uniqie as they were left unoccupied at amny time. The cottages have a mistire of thatched, tin and slate roofs with white washed walls.

They are set up as a Not For Profit Organisation and when all of our loans are repaid any monies will be put back into the community.

We have river walks which are open to the public where they can sit and enjoy the river.

The cotttages are always in need of repair due their traditional metods of building.

They provide part time employment for five people.
