Powered By Sport

From March 2018 Powered By Sport is the new name for our charity (Love Hockey Ireland). Our organisation was established in February 2010 as a non profit organisation set up to facilitate the integration of people of all backgrounds in local communities through the sport of Inline Hockey. In January 2011 we attained charity status in the UK. Between 2012 - 2013 we delivered a Peace III good relations based sports programme called S.T.A.R. (Skating Together Advancing Relations) across the southern cluster area of Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon and Newry.

In 2013 we established our own social enterprise The Rink Sports Arena & Multipurpose centre. The Rink is Irelands, largest roller skating facility and provides our charity with a financial sustainability while also allowing us to achieve our charitable objectives.

In March 2018 we will be rebranding the organisation to "Powered By Sport" and launching our charitable objectives for the years ahead.

Love Hockey Ireland is run by a group of dedicated volunteers.
