Pride in North Cumbria

Pride in North Cumbria is a LGBT group for young people aged 13-25 yrs. They meet weekly to socialise, take part in work shops, organise events and design and deliver training programmes. The group is based in the LGBT HQ in Carlisle which is also home to Sticky Bits cafe which is an LGBT cafe and information centre. The centre also offers a councelling service and is developing offices, work space and a health and well being centre.

Mission

The object of the group is to provide a safe and supportive environment in which to enable young people who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender or Questioning their identity to participate in personal development opportunities, that will assist them to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.
