Shackleton and Aviation Museum

The Shackleton and Aviation Museum is a NI Registered Charity covering the history of aviation in Ireland from 1910 until present day it covers the history of aviators in the North West of County Londonderry including Amelia Earhart, Harry Ferguson, General Balbo ,Richard Branson and Sam Kinkead an air ace and experimental pilot involved in the Schneider Trophy racing. The museum also gives talks and lectures and film shows to local community groups we also involve the schools with painting competitions . A community group magazine is also produced and printed by inmates at HMP Magilligan In County Londonderry.
