South Lakeland Carers

The Young Adult Carers service was set up by South Lakeland Carers to support carers aged 16—24. The YAC service was established in response to growing demand and the recognition that carers in that age group have particular needs that are very different to those of Young or Adult Carers.  We provide 1-2-1 support, family support where appropriate, education and benefits guidance, regulare trips and activities, and access to training.
