Splitz Support Service

Providing support to lone parents, teen mothers, people with experience of domestic abuse including the victim, the survivor, the perpetrator and children who have witnessed the harmful behaviour.

As a service user-led provider we work with partner agencies and the local community to research and forecast support needs, and develop and deliver a range of quality services and other solutions. Our services are developed with input from service users and others in the local community.

We work with national training providers to ensure our staff meet the appropriate national occupational standards. Through a programme of continuous professional development staff are encouraged to achieve an appropriate recognised qualification at level 3 or above

Our aim is to continue providing support services in the community where there is a need and a demand. Many of our services are developed to reduce the gaps in provision, and this is most evident in the services provided to young people affected by domestic abuse. There are very few specialist services for young people between 11 and 16 years of age.
