Yiewsley Cornerstone Centre

Yiewsley Cornerstone Centre is a local registered charity working with the community of Yiewsley and the surrounding areas to make the place we live a better place. The charity offers a wide range of activities, sessions and services to enhance the opportunities available to the members of the local community. Our aim is to establish a local hub for everyone to use and enjoy within their community.

Yiewsley Cornerstone Centre currently runs activities for both families and individuals of all ages. The charity has been commissioned to run a Children’s Centre for the under 5s as well as continually obtaining funding to provide Over 50s services such as exercise classes and IT help.

On top of these activities the charity also provides services in areas such as Employment (CV writing, interview skills and job searching), Healthy Cooking (on a Budget), Advice & Guidance (on health, money, parenting...), Training Workshops and Courses (such as ICT, communication skills, confidence building...) and works in partnership with many other community groups, charities and local government departments to meet as many needs of the community as possible. 

We want the local people to take an active part in shaping the activities we provide. Therefore we have a Charity Forum for you to have your say and we offer volunteering opportunities within many areas of the charity. To celebrate our community and increase the community spirit we also try to host community events regularly for all.
